| AFTER SCHOOL SESSIONS 3:30-5:00 Remember to wear clothes that can get messy and bring a snack! TRIBAL ART Four Weeks Tuesdays, 10/28/11/18 Wednesdays, 10/29-11/19 Thursday, 10/30-11/20 $60 per session + $10 materials fee Explore the artistic methods and styles of different cultures using a variety mediums. We’ll travel to Australia to experience the magic of dream painting using ancient aboriginal methods. Then we’re off to Africa to create decorated papier mache calabash bowls. Finally, inspired by South and Central American ritual masks we'll create painted spirit masks using plaster of paris, acrylic paints and other mixed media. ART GIFTS Two Weeks Tuesdays, 12/2 & 12/9 Wednesdays, 12/3 & 12/10 Thursday, 12/4 & 12/11 $30 per session + $10 materials fee Just in time for Holiday gift giving! Young artists will create a personalized painting just for the recipient of your gift. We’ll use water colors and illustration pens to create a beautiful framed art gift for giving someone special. |

| FRIDAY AFTERNOON WORKSHOPS 1:30-3:30 Remember to wear clothes that can get messy and bring a snack! HOLIDAY LUMINARIAS Friday, 11/21, 1:30-3:30 $25 + $5 materiasl fee This is the Holiday version of the paper mache luminarias. We'll use brightly colored tissue paper and acrylic medium to create glowing globes of color PAINTED ORNAMENTS Friday, 12/5. 1:30-3:30 $25 + $5 materials fee We’ll use Acrylic paints and other decorative objects to adorn flat, holiday shaped wooden ornaments and glass globe ornaments. Personalize your tree with original art! COOKIE ART Friday, 12/19. 1:30-3:30 $25+ $5 materials fee Holiday shaped cookies become our canvas. We’ll supply the cookies and the “paint” . We’ll use paint brushes and colored icing to decorate the cookies. Fun, beautiful and delicious! |
