| Under the Deep Blue Sea Monday through Friday 1:00 to 4:00 7/7- 7/11 $150 + $15 materials fee |
| Create your own under water worlds full of spiny starfish, smiling sea turtles,sharp toothed sharks, cuddly otters, leaping dolphins and the vibrant blues and greens of our beautiful ocean. We’ll use several different mediums and complete several finished pieces. We'll experiment with silk painting, acrylic and water color paints, and large scale mixed media projects. Remeber to wear clothes you can get messy in, and bring a snack & a drink. |
| Make your very own, custom designed board game! Create a beautiful, personalized game board and individual playing pieces. Children will design the theme and strategy of the game: Forgot to walk the dog? – back two spaces. Score the winning goal at your soccer game? – move ahead three! The games are incredible works of art, are fun to play and a treasure to keep forever! Remember to wear clothes that can get messy and bring a snack and a drink! |

| Spend the afternoons in our sunny garden and in our studio experimenting with a variety of mediums including oil pastels, watercolors, acrylics, Sculpey clay, collage and decoupage. Summer provides us with the colorful inspiration of bright, beautiful flowers, fruit covered trees, birds, bugs and so much more to paint and draw. Wear your sunscreen and a hat for working outside, remember to wear clothes that can get messy, bring a snack & a drink! |
| In this class it’s ok to break stuff! Come explore the amazing process of tile and broken plate mosaics. We move our studio space outside for this project, working with colorful broken tiles, dishes, cups, etc. to create unique art-objects full of color and texture. Bring three colorful plates or tiles, broken or intact. Thin bathroom tiles are best or porcelain cups and plates. Remember to wear clothes that can get messy, bring a snack and a drink! |

| Get ready for those summer beach days by customizing your very own canvas beach bag and beach towel. The 14”x18” sturdy canvas bag has gussets so you can fit all your beach stuff in it. The big (30”x60”) towel is 100% cotton terry velour. We’ll use colorful fabric dyes & paints to cover your bag and towel with sharks, starfish, your name, baseballs, horses, favorite colors, crazy patterns - whatever works for you! Remember to wear clothes that can get messy and bring a snack and a drink! |

| Ever want to have one of those cool customized mailboxes? In this one-day workshop children will design and paint their very own mailbox. How about a mailbox covered in your favorite flower, a fire truck mailbox, a beach scene, your family and your pets – there are so many possibilities! We supply the mailbox, you supply the creativity! Bring a snack. |
| Why pay a small fortune for a pair of shoes with penguins or cherries on them when you could customize your own pair? We'll use acrylic paints to decorate shoes with the pattern and image that you choose. You'll have a durable, completely personal, exceedingly cool pair of shoes just in time for summer! Bring a clean, new pair of plain, canvas shoes in your size (Keds, Vans, Converse, Payless Airwalks) . |

| Ever want a zebra striped table or one covered in polka dots? How about a chair adorned with flowers, baseballs or the night sky? Create your very own beautiful piece of furniture! We’ve got a few tables and chairs for you to choose from, or bring your own if you have something that fits your house, your room, your yard, etc. We’ll use acrylic paints to adorn the furniture with patterns and decorative images, then seal them so they’ll last a good long time! Remember to wear clothes that can get messy and bring a snack and a drink! |
