| Friday Nights, 7pm-9pm $120 for six week Session or $25 per class Classes on the following Fridays: 1/25, 2/8, 2/15, 2/29, 3/7, 3/21 Come explore your creativity, enjoy some good conversation and indulge in a litte fun! Tap into your inner child, your artistic nature and the playful side of your personality! Be adventurous! We will work on various projects using acrylic, gouache and water color painting, collage, mixed media, tile mosaics, silk painting and much more!!!!! Pajamas, slippers, festive beverages and snacks to share are actively encouraged! |
| Spend the day in our studio and in the company of other women, creating a beautiful, meaningful project. We assemble our own personal deck of SoulCollage cards, using the process originated by Seena B. Frost. This is a creative and artistic activity that anyone can do, which requires no training or special skills. Yet, if we lay the groundwork, give our full attention, and wait respectfully, this amazingly simple form can offer up images of surprising depth and startling personal meaning. SoulCollage is a process through which you contact your intuition and create an incredible deck of cards which have deep personal meaning and which will help you with life's questions.
Following the simple SoulCollage directions, your hands move images and patterns, cut from magazines, calendars, wrapping paper, etc., piecing them together in a surprising new way and gluing them down on a card. Cards containing the images you select --- or the images that select you. This is a multi-leveled, creative process that anyone can do. Easy and enjoyable, yet profound and rich in meaning. In this introductory workshop you will learn how to create a deck of personal cards using the visual language of symbols, dreams, and archetypes. These cards will always be there for you to consult for inspiration and guidance in answering your life's questions.SoulCollage engages both your curiosity and insight about yourself and is healing in its psychological and spiritual depth. It is a satisfying way to discover and express inner feelings and experiences, and you will find yourself treasuring each one of your cards.
